Just over two decades ago titans walked the earth freely bringing rock to the masses. Rock with face melting, soul stirring guitar solos. Rock with vocal hooks you couldn't help but shout at the top of your lungs. Rock that was so powerful it became a way of life. But since the advent of grunge and emo few titans still stand. And while a handful of young survivors have been discovered in the wasteland that is old school rock, the remaining time tested pioneers stand atop a plateau to which so very few can reach. Sadly, that "kick you in your fucking teeth" attitude of rock has been almost entirely replaced by theatrical make-up and stage gimmicks. The once blazing inferno has been reduced to a mere candle. Well, I don’t know about you, but I think its time someone took that candle, placed it at your feet, and spit gasoline at the both of you.
"It's time to re-ignite the flame of old school rock! The tunes that got the guys adrenaline pumping and the girls to let their hair down… along with any garments they choose to remove." jokes the raspy voiced vocalist Santino of Scarlet Carson. A new rock band from the dirty Jersey Shore. Where better to find the mother load of all "diamonds in the rough" than in sands filled with cigarette butts, used condoms, and broken beer bottles? "We think its time to bring that good ol’ dirty rock 'n’ roll back to the forefront," says Steve the six string ring leader as he takes another drag and chases it with a shot of Jack, "... the kind of rock 'n' roll that inspired us and so many others, both past and present.".
Don't be fooled however, this isn't your father’s vintage collection being regurgitated in a new digital format. The band has added its own spin, a sort of modern flair to the timeless style. With a fresh line up of tour dates, and a there debut album "Not So Innocent", one could compare the band as sounding like a hybrid of Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, and Aerosmith, meets Buckcherry and Three Days Grace. Developing a sound that warrants its own title, a title the band’s vocalist has dubbed "Stripper Rock". That’s right, Stripper Rock. Hard-hitting rock with a groove to make the ladies move provided by the bands strong rhythm section found in Joe (Rhythm Guitar), Tony (Bass), and Raab (Drums). Its catchy, its heavy, its light, and its sexy! You can sing to it, dance to it, fight to it, and fuck to it! It’s everything you want in your rock music, plus strippers & liquor! Its Scarlet fuckin' Carson!
[We're Scarlet Carson and we approved this sexy bio.]
